The CILS examination (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera/Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language) is an official examination that assesses the student’s language proficiency. Our preparation will get you ready for the following exams:
- CILS A1/A2 Integrazione needed for integration in Italy.
- CILS B1 needed to obtain Italian citizenship.
- CILS B2 needed to work or study in Italy.

Before the course, we’ll schedule a 35-minute free trial lesson and, if needed, you will receive a questionnaire that will help me find the best solution according to your starting level, training needs, learning objectives and personal interests. One-to-one lessons focus on your specific goals, however, you are welcome to create a small group to practice Italian with your fellow students.
During the lessons, you will participate in listening, writing, speaking and reading activities. We will also talk about topics such as environment, lifestyle, fashion, or history. My aim is to support you to become proficient in the key language areas you need the most.
At the end of each lesson, you will receive a file that will tell you what we did and, if necessary, I will send extra resources to study in between lessons.
